The Coleman Pro-Gen 5000 Electric Generator

The Coleman Pro-Gen 5000 Generators are 70% quieter than those units typically powered by average lawn mower engine. With a 6250-watt surge, and a 5000-watt continuous power output, Coleman Pro-Gen 5000 Generators can handle the longest power outages. These units include a manual and a 1-year warranty towards commercial use and a 2-year warranty for residential use. Pro-Gen 5000's are equipped with a 10 H.P. VanGuard OverHead Valve engine by Briggs & Stratton. This is an industrial grade motor designed to withstand longer hours of usage. Coleman Pro-Gen 5000's last 3 to 5 times longer than flat head designs. And with 4 outputs total, there will be more than enough outlet to supply your home or workplace. The Pro-Gen 5000 also has a 5 gallon fuel tank and all circuits have pop out circuit breakers for protection. The easy to find control panel is located in the back to ensure proper and safe plug ins. The engine itself has a low oil shutoff protection feature which will stop the over heating and possible meltdown of the engine. The electronic ignition for easy starts is also very useful for tight areas were a manual pull string would be a hassle. These units retail in some areas of the U.S. for as high as $4,500
